Reproductive Health Information

In Michigan, school districts that implement sex education are legally required to establish a Sex Education Advisory Board (SEAB). ECS parents, students, community health professionals, clergy and educators are all encouraged to apply to join this advisory committee.

The SEAB is responsible for recommending curriculum, establishing program goals, and evaluating the effectiveness of the sex education program at least once every two years.
