Welcome ToPleasantview Elementary
Welcome to Pleasantview Elementary School! This neighborhood elementary school, located on Toepfer Drive near Gratiot Avenue, serves children in kindergarten through fifth grades as of fall 2025. Pleasantview is a “Leader In Me” school, which focuses on Stephen Covey’s "7 Habits of Happy Kids."
Our staff works to foster the leadership of all students and create an environment of happy, healthy learners and leaders. We are dedicated to our students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. Students are exposed to a well-rounded curriculum, centered on proven strategies that meet the needs of all learners. In addition, our Pleasantview students have opportunities to participate in after-school mentorship programs, Student Lighthouse Team, robotics, journalism club, and more.
